The Lyngdorf Audio MP-40 2.1 multichannel processor delivers the high-quality sound and performance akin to its flagship counterpart, the MP-60 2.1, but with a design optimized for smaller home cinemas that require fewer decoding channels. With capabilities for decoding 12 native channels and featuring 16 balanced audio outputs, the MP-40 2.1 fully supports immersive surround formats including DOLBY ATMOS®, DTS:X®, and AURO-3D®, along with 8K and 3D video, HDCP 2.3, and sophisticated HDMI switching. It is designed for easy installation and offers user-friendly functionality, providing an opportunity to experience Lyngdorf Audio's renowned performance in a more concise package.
Advanced HDMI Features
Equipped with three HDMI inputs and two outputs, the MP-40 2.1 supports HDMI 2.1 features such as eARC, Dynamic Lip-Sync, and QMS (Quick Media Switching), along with the most current decoding and post-processing standards. It accommodates 40 Gbps fixed rate link (FRL) and 18 Gbps TMDS video rates, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), as well as HDR metadata passthrough for dynamic HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision™. The eARC capability ensures the processor can receive a full Dolby Atmos audio bitstream from the TV, maintaining the highest audio quality from the TV’s built-in media players.
RoomPerfect™ Calibration Technology
The MP-40 2.1 incorporates Lyngdorf Audio’s exclusive RoomPerfect™ room correction technology, offering a premier solution for adjusting the sound system to its surroundings. This advanced calibration not only guarantees an exceptional surround sound experience in almost any room but also reduces or eliminates the need for extensive acoustic treatments such as bulky bass traps.
